Lincoln Park Zoo opened its gates in 1868
with a pair of swans donated by New York's
Central Park. It is spread over 35-acres.
The highlight of Licoln Zoo is its Great
Ape House where, 24 gorillas have been kept
and are reported to be of the finest category.

such as the fascinating elephants, lions,
gorillas and dancing peacocks. Don't forget

Brookfield Zoo is spread over 216 acres
and houses over 2,700 animal residents.
